Mark Greenwood is an author, musician and storyteller with a passion for Australian history and folklore. He is the aauthor of ‘Jandamarra’
(nominated for the 2014 Book of the Year awards) and many other Australian stories based on historical events and people. Mark is coming on Tuesday 17 March at 1:50 pm. A renowned and awardwinning
author, Mark is presenting a performance called “The History Hunter – Breathing Life into Legends” – a wonderful presentation for Years 3 to 7, which seeks to inspire children to read, seek information and write using adventures and larger-than-life characters from the past.

This program has strong curriculum links with English, History and
Drama as Mark provides ideas and strategies to enhance historical and
creative writing. The cost of this presentation is $5. This week, children
from Years 3 to 7 will receive a flyer detailing more information about
Mark Greenwood’s visit, attached with an envelope to enclose your
payment. Please return this to the library by Monday 16 March and
place in the Mark Greenwood box to enable your child to take
advantage of this great opportunity.
