The school tuckshop is run by a convenor and is assisted by parents who volunteer their help. Currently the tuckshop operates every
Thursday and
Friday. The number of days it is open directly depends upon the number of volunteers willing to operate it and parents are earnestly invited to join our willing band of workers. The tuckshop sells a wide range of food and refreshments including wholesome lunches, juices, yoghurt etc. A packet system operates and all parents are issued with a current stock and price list during the first week of each school year. Since 2008, our School Tuckshop has been positively meeting the requirements of the ‘Healthy Food and Drink Supply Strategy for Queensland Schools’ and will provide only green and amber food / drink products as per Education Queensland guidelines. The business of the tuckshop is based on small profits, which accrue to the funds of the Parents and Citizens Association. A Tuckshop committee comprising interested P & C members helps guide the running of the tuckshop and reports monthly to the P & C Association
